    Low voltage systems are electrical systems that do not exceed 98 volts. Typical business systems are data transmission systems, structured cabling, proprietary video, CCTV, satellite systems that are not part of a community antenna television or radio distribution system, key-less access control, access gates, audio-visual and home entertainment, phone systems and data networks. Typical residential systems are doorbells, garage door openers, home security systems, thermostats, and landscape lighting.
